​Starlighters are  a community theatre group based in Walthamstow, we aim to perform three shows a year.  Our aim is to put on shows to raise money for charities an other good causes.  We are a very supportive theatre group providing the chance for members to gain experience 'treading the boards' and we encourage people to step outside their comfort zone.  We also offer volunteering opportunities for local people to help give something back to their community and learn new skills.​

Starlighters has a 'real family atmosphere' and we welcome new members with open arms and focus on getting the best out of people and playing to their strengths.

Many local charities have been helped by Starlighters over the last 40 years and since 2017 we have been raising money for Waltham Forest Community Hub, a local charity that supports young people and senior citizens.  Our fundraising directly supports the seniors' activities through ticket sale donations and offering discounted tickets to seniors to encourage them to watch our show and so helping to reduce isolation.
